Throughout the semester scholars will utilize various online resources to assist them in applying Wake County Public Schools' Vision and 4 C's Framework: collaboration, creativity. communication and critical thinking. The following links are just a snippet of these resources, but they are among the best in instructional support.
Reading Comprehension
Readtheory.org is an online program that tracks the growth of a reader's comprehension skills. Additionally, it adjusts the instructions/assessments based upon the student's real time performance. Data is provided and explained in a simplistic and user friendly format for parents and students. |

Quill.org is an online, interactive program used to assist scholars in improving their writing skills---specifically in the area of grammar. |
Research
Aresearchguide.com is a great online research guide for students of all ages. More importantly, it is a comprehensive source successfully presenting information on emerging scientific fields alongside classic literature without the fuss and confusion. |
